Fashion Program Pitch
During my time at John Paul the Great Catholic University, I recognized the need for a dedicated fashion and costume program to support the university’s film and theater departments. Over my three years, I immersed myself in costume design and fashion, honing my skills independently while receiving encouragement from the university.

As my passion for this field grew, I saw an opportunity to formalize fashion education at JPCatholic. In my final year, I developed and presented a comprehensive pitch to the university’s leadership, advocating for the establishment of a fashion program. Following my presentation, the program was approved, marking a significant step toward integrating fashion into the school’s curriculum.
Just a week after graduating, I began actively contributing to the development of this program, shaping it into a valuable resource for students passionate about fashion and costume design. Having spent years teaching myself, I was driven by a desire to create an environment where others could receive structured, high-quality education in the field they love.

From Pitch to Program
Learning through
Over the course of two years, I developed the concept for a fashion program tailored to my university. In my final year, I took initiative to bring that vision to life by crafting a comprehensive program pitch. I conducted in-depth research on budgeting, academic structures, and institutional requirements for launching a new program. I also designed a proposed course sequence, outlining class content and progression to ensure a well-rounded education for future students. This experience not only deepened my understanding of business development within an academic setting, but also taught me how to align a program’s goals with the needs and interests of the student body.
